Centres d'expositions (exhibitions centers)

CIAP / XXème

The twentieth, cultural center offers an exhibition course dedicated to the heritage of the twentieth century in S.U.D. This interpretive center tells the great adventure of the twentieth century: the white coal, the arrival of the tractor, the development of tourism, summer camps or solar homes are among the topics covered in the permanent exhibition. A shop space plunges us into the atmosphere of the joyous modernity of the 60s: exclusively, you can find design objects and emblematic of the time. You will also be able to bring a souvenir of the history of Serre-Ponçon and the new village of Savines-le-Lac, fully labeled "patrimoine du XXème siècle" (heritage twentieth century). Take part in a guided tour, workshop or coffee architecture organized by the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire

La maison des Chanonges

Inside, the coffered ceiling of the 13th century, the mural of 1513, evoking the legend of St Eustache and upstairs, the French ceiling of the 17th century, give this house, the oldest of Embrun , a remarkable character. Since 2007, it is the Embrun Heritage House and the headquarters of the cultural service of the city.
